Dr. Jonathan Vickery

Jon qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the Liverpool in 2013 after having completed an Animal Science degree at Nottingham, and joined The Barn in January 2014, before progressing to become a partner in 2021.

Jon enjoys all areas of equine work, with a keen clinical interest in surgery, lameness and orthopaedics and has completed a certificate in orthopaedic surgery.

Jon is also racecourse qualified and an FEI permitted treating veterinarian and attends Salisbury racecourse, point-to-points as well as British Eventing and international FEI events in a professional capacity.

Outside of work Jon will most often be found on a rugby pitch in the winter and on a polo ground in the summer. He has a springer spaniel called Toby who comes with him everywhere.
