Nenad qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in June 1999. After a short spell in mixed practice, he joined the Barn Equine Surgery in 2000. Following further post-graduate studying he was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Equine Practice in 2004, progressed to become a partner in 2005 and achieved RCVS Advanced Practitioner Status in Equine Practice in 2015. He sees a varied case load on a daily basis, ranging from high level competition horses to much loved pet horses. He enjoys the challenges of investigating medical conditions and is interested in all aspects of lameness, poor performance, diagnostic imaging including scintigraphy (bone scans) and reproduction.
Nenad also has a keen interest in surgery and performs our colic surgeries as well as other varied soft tissue operations, including “rigs”, wound repairs, sarcoid and other tumour treatments.
In his free time, Nenad enjoys keeping fit, is also a keen skier and often spends his winter holidays on the snowy slopes with his family and friends. Nenad is married to Tara, a small animal veterinary surgeon and they have two daughters.
